myCricket Strategic Roadmap

Recognizing the myCricket app's challenges, including low usage, underperforming app store ratings, and software bugs, we acknowledged the pressing need to elevate its position in the competitive app store marketplace. As a response, I took the lead in assembling a team of skilled designers and developers to devise a comprehensive roadmap. Our objective was to address customer feedback and bring the app up to par with industry standards, with a clear vision of making it an industry-leading application.

Throughout this transformative journey, we prioritized customer-centric improvements and meticulously addressed the reported issues. By incorporating cutting-edge design principles and the latest industry best practices, we elevated the user experience to new heights. Additionally, our agile development approach enabled us to efficiently resolve software bugs and deliver regular updates to enhance performance and stability.

  • Deleted unused code, reduced overall app file size, boosted app performance and eliminated all app crashes

  • Introduced proactive ratings after service payment to boost overall app ratings to 4.5+

  • Integrated Google Firebase, CMS systems and Optimizely to gather data, rapid content creation with out development and introduced A/B testing.

  • Added ability to login using biometrics (Touch ID, Face ID, Fingerprint) to boost login success rate to 90%+.

  • Incorporated most requested feature from app store reviews to boost overall engagement and satisfaction.

  • Introduced new overview page to better communicate usage, payment info, due date and set us up for personalization in app.

  • Integrated with web support content to create a seamless elf service experience.
